Indeed I'd wondered why Barry was loitering at times near the loo, thinking he could if he was busting just have ran to a bush (lot easier for these men folk  )

My brothers a complete claustrophobe and he freaked at an email of pics, The only thing that scared me  and may amuse some of you, I heard Gadge giggling at me  was the repulsion I felt due to my foot phobia on sunday (thankfully not in the tunnels) and had to run away squeeling that Lewis had his plates of meat out, they physically made my stomach turn  it wasn't nice   (sorry Lewis they ain't, they're nasty orrible feet and should be covered at all times   )

Sure I asked a while ago to give over on the smoke issue 8)

 I will try not to mention the S word :waggle:
However dry ice stays low and would have given it all a great effect without the bad visibility and health issues.
They use it quite a lot on Most Haunted etc.

Just wanted to put this as a suggestion to the UCAP guys.

Nice idea but dry ice would cover up all those nasty trip hazards.

Yes I thought about taking my helmet but the one I have is a nice genuine WW2 so didn't want to put big dents in it hence went for the cap and dents in head :?
Extra padding required next time!

i managed all day without hitting my head once, even when running, and im over 6 ft

but walking out of the bunker, after the visit up the stairs right at the end of the day, i banged my head

no damage done , as my heads probably denser than the steel beam i bumped

My tommy helmet is original WW2 (as I suspect is everyone else's)... It didn't get a scratch...

These old helmets are tougher than you think!

If I was to wear a helmet I would have to duck even more as it adds an other 1" to make me 6'3" so many more bumps would be had.
I would have to have a cover over it if I was to use it just me not wanting to re-paint it and remove dents etc.

I think even BB's will go through that Ste! :? :raspberry:

Well i've just spent the best part of an hour brushing the mud and chalk off my battledress and webbing...

I really didnt expect to get muckier than a wet woodland event (close action) at an underground tunnel complex on a fairly dry week....

Fancy doing mine now, i just can't summon up the enthusiasm. Then library floor is now buried under 37 patt. webbing and kit.

On the plus side, it's like a huge novelty climbing frame for the cats.
